I was born and raised in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. I had a great childhood and a very loving, caring and supportive family. From the age of 13, I knew I wanted to be a Disc Jockey. I actually worked at a fruit market around the corner from my house just to save up for DJ equipment. After saving enough money, I purchased my first set of equipment at the age of 15, which I kept in the basement. My parents were not thrilled that I had DJ equipment, my mother frequently banging on the floor, asking me to lower the bass! By age16, I was working as a roadie for a DJ company (DJ Jeff Yahney). I worked most weekends, and for many years, set up sound systems, lighting rigs and various other entertainment set ups. Just after I graduated high school, I started playing consistently in bars and night clubs across the entire tri state area -- from "The Palm Club" in Bayside, to the “Sportside Cafe" in Corona, to "Live Psychic" on the Upper East Side. I was literally a DJ seven nights a week.
On July 26th, 1993 I became a NYC law enforcement officer. I served the City for over 24 years and retired on July 1, 2017. While I was working for the City, I was still an active and well sought out DJ, growing my own music production company. I performed for thousands of people at private events such as, weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs, corporate events and many others.
After being in the music industry for so long, however, I came to the realization that I really wanted to try acting. I attended classes at HB Studios over the course of five years. After taking various acting and improv classes, I decided to take things further so in 2016 I attended "The Stand Up University" Classes in Bellmore, Long Island. After retiring from the City, I continued acting and started to do voice over work.
